David Myers has tolerated his sister babying him and his ADHD daughter since the accident that took both is wife and his sight. But when his sister decides to move away, David seizes the opportunity to be a single parent instead of moving with his sister, whose care had saved him from the threat of Social Services. Now he must hire a nanny and fill his sister’s shoes or potentially lose his daughter to the system.

Trinity has always had trouble deciphering people’s emotions because of her autism. Like billions of others, she suffered from COVID and lost her sense of smell. When she starts to regain it, she finds that she’s not detecting food or objects. She’s smelling emotions.
